Flamenco - Sheer Idyllic Perfection

Flamenco has been dubbed the “best beach in America” and the “best escape beach” by relative authorities. A mile or so of striking white coral sand is juxtaposed by turquoise waters and well covered hills. But this beach offers more than the best stretch of coast in Puerto Rico - it offers solitude.
Though the area was once used for naval exercises, it has now been given the status of a Marine Wildlife Reserve. This shift in use has definitely benefited the coastline. If you choose to dive, you'll find some of the most stunning coral reefs available in the Caribbean. And what's more, you won't have annoying boats, jet skies and crowds competing with you in the water.
If you feel you've had enough of the beaches, you may choose to take a walk around the island where there are many remnants of navel machinery to view.
